Hugo Nominations!

Nyssa

Okay, I read the rules wrong :P You can vote up until the 13th of March, but you have to be paid (I think partially paid is acceptable) by the end of January.

Some great Aussies are working their way around the interwebs for Australian nominations. Check out Robert Hoge's blog with his start up for The Homegrown Hugo Nomination Campaign. Twelfth Planet Press has an insanely generous offer to give away some of their award winning fiction in e-format (we have a review for one of the books, Horn, here. )

Want more? SF Awards Watch is also keeping an eye on what is eligible (and yes, you can submit your work to be listed as well).

And don't forget Awritergoesonajourney.com is eligible for the Best Fanzine category! *wink, wink, nudge, nudge, know what I mean, know what I mean? Say no more! Say no more!* (If you need a reference for that, check out this youtube video).

If you need a reference for that quote, you don't deserve to be on the interwebs!

Yeah, the Pythons are great. Was very embarrassing one day when my boys (then aged 6 and smilies/cool.gif were walking around Woolworths singing 'Every Sperm is Sacred' at the top of their lungs with beautiful choirboy voices.

We've been alternating watching rewatching House, and then Blackadder II (with Hugh Laurie and Stephen Fry in support roles), and then 'A Bit of Fry and Laurie'. Strange timewarp to watch House without his American accent in those old British comedies. 'A Bit of Fry and Laurie' especially is very much like Flying Circus humour.
